This policy describes which personal data is processed when you visit this website and when you send a travel enquiry. It follows the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).

Visiting the website

The website is hosted by Netlify, Inc. (USA). When you open a page, Netlify processes technically necessary data such as your IP address, time of access, the page requested and browser details, in order to deliver the page and protect it from misuse. This data may be processed in the USA or other countries.

This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking services, and loads no fonts or scripts from third parties.

Travel enquiry

When you fill in the enquiry form, your details (name, email, optional phone number, trip details and your message) are transmitted and stored via Netlify’s form service. The page you arrived on and, where present, campaign details from the link (for example utm_source) are also recorded. This is used solely to answer your enquiry and to understand how enquiries come about.

Your details are not passed to hotels or other providers before you have agreed to a specific booking. When I ask someone for a local perspective (Local Check), I share neither names nor contact details.

Bookings

If you ask me to make a booking, I pass the necessary details to the hotel or booking partner. Their own privacy policies apply to how they process it.

Retention

Enquiries and correspondence are kept for as long as needed to handle them or as required by statutory retention obligations.

Your rights

You can request access to your data and ask for it to be corrected or deleted, unless a retention obligation applies. An email to info@wayla.ch is enough.
